The filter on the CPAP or BiPAP machine is extremely crucial to shield the user’s respiratory system from harmful particles found in the environment. The pressured air delivered by the CPAP or BiPAP machine is taken from the room and is first cleaned by the machine’s filter before reaching the user. This ensures that the user gets clean, safe air during their therapy.
In addition to filtering air for the user’s airways, the device filter also protects the CPAP machine from internal damage. It ensures that any damaging particles such as dust, smoke, and other contaminants, which can cause device malfunction, do not enter the CPAP / BiPAP machine.
Therefore, it is imperative to clean and regularly change the filter on your device. While cleaning of a filter is recommended once in fifteen days, the user must ensure a new filter change at least once every 6 months.
Given the frequency of filter change needs, we offer a selection of filter variants compatible with all major CPAP and BiPAP machines. All filters provided by us are from leading device manufacturers like ResMed, Philips Respironics, and DeVilbiss Healthcare.
